We are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to unique and amazing wedding venues and locations on the Mornington Peninsula but I will admit that I get a flutter of excitement when I am asked to be part of a wedding celebration at one of my favourites, Commonfolk in Mornington!
I love the raw industrial look and laid back vibe and this always translates to a cracking party atmosphere from the moment everyone arrives. The cherry on top this time was working with Stevie and Daniel who were all about creating a fun and relaxed ceremony which definitely got the party started right!
The weather was against us and the ceremony was moved inside but it didn’t make any difference, as guests sipped on espresso martinis and the excellent Commonfolk team hustled to get everything sorted. To the amazing tune ‘Ain’t Nobody’ by Chaka Khan Stevie’s bridesmaids wowed in amazing jumpsuits and the applause from their family and friends was epic when Stevie entered and walked in with her much love Mum by her side.
There were laughs, some emotional tears, and loud applause all topped off with a little heckling from the crowd, it was amazing!
